ART RESIDENCY

The Teacher Props Art Residency offers artists the opportunity to transform everyday spaces through bold, original artwork. Designed for emerging and established creatives alike, the residency centers on creating murals, installations, and paintings that bring character, creativity, and beauty to properties throughout the Teacher Props portfolio. These properties, which include interior residential common spaces and exterior public facing spaces, serve as a canvas for artists to enhance their surroundings and make beauty a more accessible part of daily life. 

Artists in residence are invited to produce site-specific work that reflects their personal style while responding to the unique character of each space. The residency provides time, visibility, compensation, and a material stipend for artists to experiment and create meaningful visual contributions. Above all, the program celebrates the power of art to uplift spaces, spark curiosity, and make the built environment more vibrant and welcoming for those who live within and amongst it.
